Innsmouth 32, Innsmouth 32 Updates, Meet The Cast
This trio of Miskatonic University scholars, along with a few MU students, are on the bus that is hijacked by the Gangsters. They might just be the ones who can save the day when there are no more bullets to be found… As you can see on each of their character cards, there is a Key icon which represents their mythos power. Each has had some exposure to Lovecraftian horrors and this will allow them to banish some of the monstrosities that await in Innsmouth.

For those of you familiar with H.P. Lovecraft’s stories, the Aged Scholar above is a tribute to his Armitage character. According to a reliable source (wikipedia), while writing “The Dunwich Horror”, Lovecraft noted in a letter that he found himself “identifying with one of the characters (an aged scholar who finally combats the menace) toward the end”.
Also, that wonderful medallion shown above is one of the mythos items that can be found while exploring Innsmouth. If wielded by one of the Scholars, it is quite a powerful weapon against the things that hide in the shadows.
