Now is the Winter of our Discontent
After a three day blizzard lifted from the Nordst outpost of Vyrmrood, the village awoke to a call to arms: Frost Giants stormed down upon them. Those who could fled, fought, or hid, but it was quickly evident that the village would be lost; to the north a great wall of ice loomed behind the marauders. The entire Kingdom of the Frost Giants was on its move down upon the Wegsworld.
The age of Ice and Winter was coming…
First Encounter Notes
4 Arks versus 8 Frost Giants
Arks: 3/33 Mage, 4/44 Sage, 3/33 Trickster, 6/66 Warrior
Giants: (4) 6/66 Warriors+4 WS and (4) 6/66 Rangers+4 RS
Players started as low-level minions and earned their way to Ark-dom. The Mage was lost during the encounter, but all others made it off the mat. Amazingly, these low-level heroes cleared all the Frost Giant Warriors. Wow! Molten Storm did its part, as did two incredible Mighty Whacks (both of which did 14 x 6). Then the “heroes” all skated off the ice as quickly as possible.
