News, Shuffling Horror Week
Our fifth annual Shuffling Horror Week is in the rearview mirror now, and what a week it was! Games were run all over the place, from NYC to Chicago and a few states in between. All in all, it was a ten game series and the Survivors won a whopping eight games – not a good year for our Directors and Monsters! Here’s some other fun facts:
–Five different Directors shuffled the horrors: Tracey, Myra, Andy, Donald, and Larry.
–Games were run in four states: NJ, OH, PA, IL.
–The first game in the series was at the Monster Bash Convention in Mars, PA. Appropriately, it was a Roswell 51 game and an alien victory!
–Four games were run by Tracey Puckett and the Dungeons & Coffee crew in Ohio and featured a couple of deck mash-ups! One was a P68/R51 combo called “The Plan 9 Initiative”, and also one the featured our Santa Vs The Space Invaders deck (with Elvis in a special guest appearance).
–Two of the craziest combos reported were The Business Man with The BB Gun (in the Plan 9 Santa mash-up) and The Farmer with The Ray Gun (in the War of the Worlds game run in Grover’s Mill).
–6 out of 10 games ended with a Last One Standing finale. These survivors were: The Robot, The WAC, The Reporter, The Business Man, The Housewife, and The Sheriff.
In every single Last One Standing scenario, the survivor prevailed! What are the odds of that?!?
Are the survivors and players starting to get wise to our monsters’ terrifying tactics?!? Fear not, Directors – next year we will have some Deep Ones in the mix (INNSMOUTH 32 will be released) as well as some other surprise thrills and chills we have in the works!
Thank you to all the Directors and Players who joined us for this series!
We couldn’t do it without you! See you next year…

Quick Updates
Look who stopped by the GameWick Games booth at Gen Con… Pittsburgh native, huge Dungeon & Dragons fan, and star of True Blood, Magic Mike, and, next, Justice League – Joe Manganiello! He was at the con promoting his Death Saves streetwear line and spotted our Shuffling Horror: PITTSBURGH 68 boardgame. Joe immediately knew what the game’s title referenced and picked up a copy. One awesome Gen Con memory for our little indie game company! More info on all things Manganiello here!

Quick Updates
It’s only 68 days until Halloween – even less to the start of Shuffling Horror Week (our annual horror world series)! GameWick Games will run several Shuffling Horror events locally, but other friends/fans join in by running home games or hosting games in their favorite local game shop or game cafe. Directors are invited to send in their game results and we announce which side won the week: Survivors or Monsters.
More info to come, but if you’re interested in running a
PITTSBURGH 69 or ROSWELL 51 game (or both as a Sci Fi Double Feature),

Limited Release, Roswell 51
We’ve released the first add-on to our Shuffling Horror line: Santa Claus Vs. The Space Invaders! In this holiday B-movie blockbuster, the Alien Warlord hatches an evil plot to kidnap Santa and ruin Christmas in Roswell! All normal Shuffling Horror rules are followed, however, a new “Capture” rule brings a dynamic twist to ROSWELL 51 play. (Yes, Virginia, you need a copy of Roswell 51 to play this game.)
This ho-ho-holiday extravaganza deck has twenty cards, including:
(8) Characters (Santa, Mrs. Claus, Toy Soldier, and more!)
(6) Items (BB Gun, Nunchuks, Slingshot, and more!)
(2) Instruction Cards
(1) Chaos Card (a Shuffler variant)
(2) Blank Cards (a Director can create a new plot device, shuffling horror, or power play card for gameplay!)
This special release is for our fans. It is only available directly from GameWick Games, either via our website or at a convention appearance. Just like the limited release of an indy movie, YOU will be one of the few Shuffling Horror screens nationwide playing this film! This release is also a bit of an indy experiment for us; we wanted to print this in small batches and just keep it all locally sourced. Direct from us to you!
